The Standard for Product Management and Marketing is Here! The Guide to the Product Management and Marketing Body of Knowledge (ProdBOK) is a comprehensive, easy to read standard for product management profession.

The ProdBOK is an industry-wide effort to standardize the practice of product management sponsored by the Association of International Product Management and Marketing (AIPMM). I am one of the contributing authors – providing an introduction to user experience (UX) for product management; describing the integration of UX activities into the overall product management process; and describing UX methods for product managers.

The ProdBOK provides a comprehensive guide across the product management life cycle. It defines the lifespan of a product from conception through retirement, breaking down this process into distinct, easy to understand phases. It takes the reader on a journey from “cradle to grave” through the product life cycle.

It was is honor and privilege to work with some of the leading minds in product management and marketing. Now the fruits of our labor have been realized and Product Managers and Marketers have a guide.
